I may not have been your intention, but the color combination with the green background and pink hanky-corsage, puts me in mind of those wonderful old 1930s-esque Flower Garden quilts. I thought about adding cording to the buttonhole, but then decided against it at the last minute. Corduroy isn't really thick in my opinion, so I treat it as nothing more than a very light denim.Shelleyjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05223944949880318245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3370970170301288861.post-45345936674075862862013-12-23T11:33:09.096-08:002013-12-23T11:33:09.096-08:00love love love it!love love love it!SWDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12184032561300873552noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3370970170301288861.post-75451306690899453012013-12-23T09:17:25.477-08:002013-12-23T09:17:25.477-08:00Beautiful jacket--love the color and the details--...Beautiful jacket--love the color and the details--especially the wooden buttons. I have some wide-wale corduroy I'm obsessed with making into something - and your jacket is an inspiration.

After your experience with this fabric, do you recommend making bound buttonholes, or just stabilizing machined buttonholes? Any advice you can offer is appreciated!wingamajighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01130319805109029429noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3370970170301288861.post-79788046994273747342013-12-23T07:18:27.301-08:002013-12-23T07:18:27.301-08:00That is gorgeous!
