Catalog Sunday
Today's pages are from Lane Bryant summer '42 I love war time catalogs, you get read about rationing, and often there are crossed out pictures or cut outs.
Those shoes! Oh. Em. Gee. Total love right there. I have to say as a stocking lover the stocking section is my favorite part of this catalogue. How I long for the days when stockings (not those evil things called pantyhose... ick) we readily available at any department store.
Absolutely excellent! :)
ReplyDeleteMy kinda' gals!
ReplyDeleteThat's really cool! I love it! I've never seen the like in vintage stuff before but then again I wasn't looking all that hard.
ReplyDelete:-)
I want every pair of those shoes, and most of the dresses!

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and have been really enjoying it. I never knew Lane Bryant had been around for so long. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful - so funny that they use the word "stout" and interesting that they warn against hoarding.
