i was at Macy's yesterday and wandered through the shoe department where there was not one single pair I'd put on my feet. hideous shoes. i said to hubby, "i wish i could go back in time." he says what for - i say "to buy shoes." maybe sears would deliver to the future ;) thanks for the Sunday Scans, I love them!!
Maybe they're not the most elegant shoes ever made, but my pair of 1940s oxfords (see "college heels") is my favorite pair of shoes ever -- trim, feminine, smart, practical and the ONLY pair of shoes I can walk for hours in without pain. Like Shrinky Inky, I look at a lot of vintage shoe ads and wish I had a postal time machine.
