July Pattern Showcase!

Yes, I'm listening to Wayne Newton right now.

Just a little pattern lust I have going on from some of my recent acquisitions.

I have lusted for a cowl neck pattern for about two years. When this 30's pattern came into my life, I knew I could not let her go. Shes amazing, er, its amazing. I wasn't too keen on the neckline being a separate piece, but its growing on me, and I already have a dress envisioned for it.

A basic 40's slip. I kinda need one, and the size is great. I think down the line I'll make it in a nice rayon.

Can you believe I didn't have a jumper!? What's the matter with me!?

I like the gathers on the neckline with this one. I've never worked with a drape like that. I'm really going to have to pay extra close attention to the notches on this pattern.

I lost out on this one a few months ago and was not too sad about it, but I kept thinking about it. Mainly because the one I lost was a 48 bust. This one (42 bust) came up and for $5, how could I pass it up!?

This one is a bit past my mid 40s cut off but come on, one word, scallops!
Yay patterns!

  1. These are gorgeous! I love the Hollywood pattern with the draped neckline; very elegant and one of those details from this decade I adore.
