  1. Really enjoyed the post today, Shelley. The styling is so classic. Lane Bryant has really changed. It's difficult to find classy clothes for stout women. If I had better sewing skills (and I am working on this), I would only shop for fabric and shoes. By the way, I read one of your pieces on the need for stout women to wear the proper undergarments. I've tried it "longline (properly fitting)bra and girdle". What a difference! I look better in my clothes and I feel better. Found my waistline again :)!Received a lot of positive comments. Thanks for your website!

  2. Hi Robin,

Thanks for the compliments! It does make you feel better when you look your best.

And I know what you mean on the Lane Bryant change. I had an old gift card and I took it in last week to see if it was still good. I have $44 on it. I haven't used it yet because I NEVER, and I mean, NEVER see anything I want to get.

The sales person was all, "Wow, that's from 2007!?" I wrote the date on the card.

I said, "Yeah. This thing should accrue interest!" :)

  3. I want to make a dress like the ones you have at the top. Any suggestions?
