Me too. They're all so flattering. 1939 is my all-time favorite fashion year. The skirts are just the right fullness, and there's exactly the right amount of interest in the sleeves & detail in the bodice. Just as in Hollywood movies, I have always thought that 1939 was the high point in twentieth century fashion (maybe 21st century fashion, too.)
For my personal taste (sounding like Goldie locks here) the forties became too broad-shouldered & the hairstyles too extreme. Before 1939, clothes are a little too clingy, slouchy, and girlish for me. 1939 is exactly right.
I would wear everything in that catalog.
