I'm always interested to see/read the descriptions and names for clothing from these old catalogs. Now they try to sell you with sex, but back then they lured customers with the promise of well made, quality cloth. Who now even cares what fabrics their clothes are made with (well besides avid sewers)? You couldn't get away with a brand name like "Charmcraft" these days. It's a shame, I think.
Also, I would love to own a pair of those alligator shoes with bows on. Those are too cute for words!
