Oh no! She'll have to learn fast! I like this old lady character. P.S. - I have trouble following the multiple back-and-forth dialogue bubbles (I'm sure that has a much more concise name), like in panel 3. I don't know why as I feel like it should be straightforward. Maybe because I don't read graphic novels too often? Just a thought.
When I read comics, I have problems following them sometimes, too. Often I have to do a double read. A good rule of thumb is start with the highest bubble first in the panel (no matter if its to the left or right and zip-zag down following dialogue lines. Each bubble is a brake in the conversation for the other character to respond.
For this particular panel, I kind of meant it to be confusing. Lady is pretty caught off guard. She had no idea what is going on :)
omg you really know how to keep me on the edge of my seat! can't wait for the next one.
also, personally i like the way you did the dialogue, it really felt like she was getting 'bowled over' by the lady in the shop! i'm both excited for and nervous for Ladie.

Tis par for the course of the comic world.
