I made a doggie bag...for my doggie.

Hello all.

This is the reason for this post today. I love her and invite you all to follow her on instagram.

If you haven't followed my Royal Chrome adventures from a few years back, I invite you to revisit those wacky times.

The reason I say that is because this bag that I'd made into a dog park/hiking bag to hold poop bags and my water bottle needed a remake.

I'd originally used the cover fabric from my old Royal Chrome cushions and it turned out great, but as time went on, as time does, this 50+ year old fabric just couldn't cut it anymore.

I decided to tweak the bag design while keeping a lot of the same visual cues that I love.

I used some 70s inspired cloth for the bag. Actually, it might very well be 1970s. It was from my stash and I used it because I thought, well, it's going to get all jacked up at the dog park, why used the good stuff?

I kept the front pocket with the grommet so I can dispense poop bags through it but I made the entire bag deeper.

I also made the water bottle holder a bit deeper so I can hold longer bottles in case I use the bag for hiking again.

This was a simple project but I haven't sewn for myself really in over two years so I felt I needed a speck of me time.

Okay, that's it. Time to get back to the grind!

Love you all!!
