What to Wear to Cicada

Hello all!
First some mild milestones. My blog has finally reached over 300 followers via Google connect. I know I have a few looking via RSS, sup' y'all! My etsy store recently had its 600th sale, 800th bookmark, and I've recently sold my 100th repro! Yay! I guess I'm still hanging in there!

This past Sunday I went to the Cicada club again. Mickey Rooney was there and apparently it was a huge deal. He preformed a bit with his wife, about a 20 minute set, then left. The place was packed. It was fun even if I didin't drink this time, and it was HARD not to! There are photos all over the Facebook if you want to see the night.

I finished my 30's dress in time for the event, so here are a few pics.

I know it looks like I'm totally hoisted up, but I'm not wearing anything any more restricting than what I normally wear. I even tied the belt a bit looser to soften the definition. This dress just makes the girls 'noticeable'.

I do really like the look of the garment. It turned out very well, and I got a lot of compliments, and quite a few stairs. The ones of the good kind. The hat worked great, and all I did was push all my hair over to the side and pin it in place.

It was a fun night.

    Love the dress and matching hat! Love it! Also, I'm jealous you got to see Mickey Rooney. Was he as tiny in person as it seems like he would be?
