It was a Thursday and the museum was open late. We met up at 6:30 and I was surprised that if you were an LA resident, you got in free!
You walk into a large breath of space where it has been transformed into a kitcky 50s tasting space itself. It's wavy gravy, man.

Yes, that is an airstream in the distance :) |

Yeah, let the awesomeness of these sink in. |

The green skirt/BAITINGSUIT is a waxed cotton. |

I am going to make this outfit. Seriously. |
There is much more, let me tell you. The exhibit is wonderfully curated and you are able to get close to the work and just admire. It's a very well done show and such a treat. If you are in the area, you should drop by. WhatI took photos of is only a fraction of the exhibit. It will be there until June.
I'll post more tomorrow!
Wow, that white bathing suit is divine! Thanks for sharing, I can't wait for Part 2!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. That exhibit looks out of this world. I am in awe of the lobster swimsuit. It's probably for the best that I'm unable to see it in person. They'd have to throw me out of there.
ReplyDeleteMust. Have. Lobster. Trunks.
