Done and done.
I did run into a few problems, one was me thinking I didn't need to use stays, but I wish I had. I'll mock up some from Onda and use them on the next dress, which I've already cut out.
Left over wool crepe I've had for a long time. This one will be a two tone number.

I think it looks great and that center zip is a cool touch.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry ;___; I normally love love love everything you create, but this is just not doing it for me. Maybe it's the harsh shadow behind you but the dress isn't doing anything for your lovely figure. Love the shoes though.
ReplyDeleteFair enough, Nancy, but I like the fit of this one WAY better than the double breasted dress I previously made. It might be the lighting. I plan on taking better pictures when I wear it to the party Im planning on wearing it to :)
ReplyDeleteFunny to read above comment, because I thought, when I saw this picture, that the dress looks wonderful on you. It shows your hourglass figure with a lovely accentuated waist. Nice!
ReplyDeleteWell I like this dress especially the front zipper and how you added the design feature at the armhole! Another wonderful dress!
