Oh, this is so darling! Was it difficult to make? I ask because I used to do a bit of sewing years and years ago, and would like to get started again. I have a late 50's, early 60's Simplicity "reversible beret" pattern, and thought I might give it a shot.
Looks great!
ReplyDeleteThat's so cute. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI just don't think a beret appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Such style!
ReplyDelete:-)
Your hats remind me of the ones that my grandmother used to make! This one is pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is awesome! Beautifully done :)
ReplyDeleteThis would do well in a place like London...so many Americans (I am one before any one gets snippy:) are wusses when it comes to hats. Cheers for you.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteI really like it, and berets seem to agree with me :)
I have some red wool from an old moth eater pendleton that I think Im gonna use to make another one.

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't too hard to make. I outline the process on my site (the last link in this post).
ReplyDeleteI might make a couple for sale. I do so like groceries :D
I just love this hat! Well done :)
ReplyDeleteSue

ReplyDeleteWill you ever repro view a or B?
ReplyDeleteNaw. Beret patterns are everywhere. The one I did repro was just so interesting.
