Vintage sewing and plus size reproduction patterns for the stout woman.
That's so cute. Very nice!
I just don't think a beret appeals to me.
Love it! Such style!:-)
Your hats remind me of the ones that my grandmother used to make! This one is pretty awesome!
Wow! This is awesome! Beautifully done :)
This would do well in a place like London...so many Americans (I am one before any one gets snippy:) are wusses when it comes to hats. Cheers for you.
Thanks everyone!I really like it, and berets seem to agree with me :)I have some red wool from an old moth eater pendleton that I think Im gonna use to make another one.
Oh, this is so darling! Was it difficult to make? I ask because I used to do a bit of sewing years and years ago, and would like to get started again. I have a late 50's, early 60's Simplicity "reversible beret" pattern, and thought I might give it a shot.
It wasn't too hard to make. I outline the process on my site (the last link in this post).I might make a couple for sale. I do so like groceries :D
I just love this hat! Well done :)Sue
Turned out lovely!
Will you ever repro view a or B?
Naw. Beret patterns are everywhere. The one I did repro was just so interesting.
