Linen NRA dress, a daytime version concluded.

It turned out pretty well. I like the buttons and the accessories keep the dress from looking like a maid's uniform.

When I was taking the photos, I couldn't help but think of this photograph. My great Grandmother is the one in the light colored dress.

A few more pictures of the linen dress are on NVL.

I love it! And it gives you such a lovely shape. You should certainly strut your stuff. Also, amazing cloche.

Thanks everyone!
Once I got my act together the dress came together fairly quickly. Its a bit large on the sides, I added a bit too much ease, but the belt helps that a lot.

Simple and elegant. I especially like the hat. Did you make that as well?

You look so gorgeous! I love the contrast collar and sleeve cuffs--so smart (as they would say in the 30s ;).

I know this is an old post but you know so well what fits and drapes well on your body and I'm totally impressed by you - [me] being someone who is struggling with embracing their measurements.
