Some good things have happened in my Etsy store. I've had my 600th order, and FINALLY my 1000th store bookmark! Yay! *whew* That was an uphill climb! I have to thank everyone who has supported me in this, I sincerely appreciate it.
I've been looking through my personal pattern collection and gathering some I've wanted to put into reproduction for a while. I have about 5 in the pipeline, and I'm starting out the new patterns with a real great sport dress from the 30s.
The pattern is a button side dress with optional revers, short or long sleeve, and a great kerchief. It's a 46 bust, 40 waist, 50 hip pattern. How awesome is that! This pattern has a lot of pieces, and I'd like to say I actually make money from these patterns, but I don't. So for those that would like to see this pattern come to print, I'll need some advanced help.
I need to have two pre-orders to cover the printing costs. I'm excited about this one and hope everyone else is too. Other's I have in the waits are another 40s day dress, a great asymmetrical 30s day dress, and a 30s day dress with apron. As usual all over 40 bust.
**Made an order to cover the printing costs!!**
I tip my hat to the plus size vintage sewing community, you all are awesome! Thanks so much!
That's about it for me this go around.
Hope everyone is having a great week's end, and is excited about the weekend!
Way to go, Shelley! I completely neglect my Etsy store.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous pattern. You do such awesome work. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Im really excited about this one, and I think I'm going to make it soon. It has a lot of fold facings on the side fronts where the buttons are, which make the pieces larger, but also make a cleaner line. Its an amazing detail that I just love. No seam bulk on the fold, hurrah!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to preorder this one!! It's just what I've been looking for!
