Happy Monday everyone!
I had a lovely weekend. I had a private lesson with my dance teacher, and worked on some of my shortcomings. Then, later that night, I went dancing and caught up with some friends I had not seen in weeks. Sunday I finally got to the bedroom and unpacked it pretty much all the way. I also emptied my last packing box, huzzah!

This made me realize that my $12.99 slippers I bought from Target a few months ago have lost their spunk. I thought on it and I do have an $80 credit at Zappos, so I figure I could get a new pair of slippers.
Now, I'm not gonna spend all of it on slippers, but I do think it's time I stepped it up a bit. I mean, I spend more time in slippers than I do in my other shoes, so they should be of good quality.
I've narrowed it down to those three.
I like the 50s loafer look of these.
These are about as classic as you can get. Good old lady slippers.
Last but not least....
Yeah, I know what you are thinking. No contest, right? I do want these and would get them right now, but they are out of the size I wan, so its back order city. I could wait, I may wait, but I need some slippers now. *sigh* decisions, decisions.
I better decide fast. I'm planning on doing a lot more dancing these next couple of months. 3 classes a week, not to mention the social dancing and events! *whew* Can't wait!!

I think that if your feet are bothering you, you might want some slippers with more support than the Daniel Greens. Haflingers are excellent, in my experience. They are typically wool, but not too warm for year 'round use.

ReplyDeleteI actually took cate's advice and got a pair of the Halfingers. I hope they are worth it and I can always return them if I don't like them.
