I did it. I got a Facebook page.
Why, you ask? I'm not really sure to tell you the truth. I know its good marketing, and especially since I had such good feed back form the radio interview a couple of weeks ago. I guess I'm gonna try and expand. Either that or I'm a huge egomaniac! :) We will see what happens.
I've also joined Pinterest. Though I will say, it's actual purpose eludes me. To my shocking surprise I have 5 followers and I didn't even do anything! Ha!
So pin, share and do whatever all this stuff is supposed to do. I'll add to them from time to time, scout's honor. I will also be adding the obligatory widget for each site to my blog side bar as soon as I figure out which one(s) I like best.
Now that that is out of the way, I have news. My printing costs are going up. Actually, they already went up once a while ago, but I just took the cut. It's happening again and I'm gonna have to raise the price of my repros.
Patterns that were $23 will be $25. Patterns that are $25 will be $27,
and other prices will be adjusted accordingly.
I'll change the prices early next week, so if you want to save a little money, you should order a repro now. Thanks you all for sticking with me on this. Boy, do I have some great repros coming down the pike. Thanks you all and I hope your Friday is a swinging' one.

ReplyDeleteI've seen mentions of pinterest, but never been there. I'll have to check it out. As for Facebook, I use it as my primary reminder to look for new blog posts.
ReplyDeleteAnd I ordered a pattern yesterday, only to see last night the price went up or so I thought. I want the pattern either way and if it is a couple dollars more, so be it.
T'Pel, you ordered the knot dress pattern yesterday, correct? That was at the lower price. Dont worry. I adjusted the re-listing back to $23. Ill change it again to $25 on Monday.

ReplyDeleteI have had a facebook for a while, not really sure why either,but I LOVE pininterest, and have just gone onto twitter (still working that one out, but etsy talked me into it) - my teenage son was amazed!
