I felt like wearing a dress yesterday. It's going to be cold and rainy for the rest of the weekend but I wanted to wear a dress, dammit. You know how you get those urges.
Most of my dresses are a bit large, and my wool ones are too large.
I picked my linen dress with its great pattern and paired it with some,
Lane Bryant leggings and some cool oxfords.
The sweater is new from Land's End.
I'd had my eye on it for ages and it went on sale, yay! I finished the look with an up-do and one of my brooches. Its a good look for being vintage inspired and warm. I'm all about being warm.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I understand the need for a dress not only now and again but everyday. I'm converting my wardrobe from pants to 18/19th century dresses and skirts. Can you say "Downton Abbey"?
