Cotton Calico Seersucker
Powder Blue Linen with RicRac.
I wore this one all day yesterday. Its so comfortable and didnt wrinkle as much as I thought it would.
All pictures are on NVL.
Ive completed the machine sewing with the brown seersucker drsss, and marked the hem.
Oh my, those are beautiful on you! Wonderful job matching fabric and trim to pattern style.
ReplyDeleteAmazing!
ReplyDeleteSeriously you're like a little dress factory, wow! I love all of them beyond measure but the powder blue with ric rac is so, so great!!
ReplyDeleteThose look great! I especially like the floral print.
ReplyDeleteDarling! The powder blue is just the prettiest thing!
ReplyDeleteI really love the ric rac. It's such an evocative addition to a retro style. These dresses are great.
ReplyDeleteI love the powder blue with ric rac. It's just perfect! You really are running a little sweatshop over there aren't you? Everytime I log onto Sew Retro, you are turning out another georgeous piece. I'm jealous!
ReplyDeleteThose turned out great. My favorite is also the floral print.

They both look great but I particularly like the blue one. The pockets were a good addition.
ReplyDeleteThe seersucker one is looking good too. Your on a roll!
The powder blue dress is to die for!
ReplyDeleteThese turned out great! My favourite is the ric-rac dress (blue is my favourite colour).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
very cute! I am envious.
ReplyDeletethe powder blue is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI love your sensibility in working with trims and small details. Now I remember that I love ric-rac!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the blue linen, but all of them are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteIm totally enjoying this pattern. I think the dresses have a real period look to them, in part because all the accent fabric is actually cotton fabric from the 1940s! Im finishing up the brown seersucker and the charcoal one with the flowers now (putting on button holes as I type this).
Yay sewing!
The blue linen with the ric-rack is gorgeous. Excellent work!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are really talented! The dresses fit you perfectly, look beautiful and comfortable! The buttons and trims look authentic too. You must have a time machine in your sewing room!
ReplyDeleteYour work is always beautiful, but what never ceases to amaze me is the how fast you can turn them out!
ReplyDeleteI'm a relative beginner, and I've been doing a blouse for 3 weeks. First try with an unmarked pattern. :)
