The pattern line is going well as I start in on my second pattern, and in-between, I'm working on many, many small and fun projects.

Playclothes Friday: Graveyard castoffs.

Hello lovely people.

I haven't done a Playclothes Friday in a few weeks because I haven't had much to repair. I have some old projects I will post but I have to look up the photos.

I do have a couple of items that were graveyard that I got gifted from Playclothes and I'm making use out of them.

Garment Restoration: 1920s Halloween Dress

Good morning lovely people. Sorry about the lack of posts this week. I'm scrambling to get money together and I'm sure you all know how that is. 

As such, I'm having a fire sale in my etsy store, primarily on clothing. Lots of dresses marked down over 50%. I will also be listing many more vintage patterns over the week. I need to get $500 together by Monday. If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Weird feeling weekend.

Hey, we have all been there.

My past weekend was strange, emotionally. I mean, I felt fine, but I was just sad. I'm not sure as why. I constantly reflect on the good things that have happened to me lately, and sometimes I feel I don't deserve them, but I just felt totally lonely and sad this past Saturday and Sunday. 

The wave has passed and I feel fine now, but it was strange to have a sudden bout of heaviness like that.

A bit about me.

I was diagnosed with severe depression around 2004. With the help of my doctor and some meds, I was able to get back on track and here I am today, a regulated happy person. That weekend sadness felt routine, I guess, but still it was odd.

In any account I tried to keep myself busy over the weekend. I didn't have any pressing plans so I just stayed at home and set up the rest of my stuff. 

My peacocks need a new home.

I've had this green sweater for a few years. It was a discount department store find, a few dollars, a nice dark color, and seemed to work with a lot in my wardrobe. This was when I was starting out in the vintage. I decided to pick up some appliques and deck the puppy out. It looked even better after that, but there was one problem after all these years of wear.
