I has been some time since I've made a post on a garment that I've made for myself....and this is no exception.
I've been working on my new pattern line which is coming along nicely, I've been making new dresses for backers, and I've been doing alterations for others, all the while, trying to make that rent!
This is a project that I've been involved with for a long time.

A great 40s windbreaker jacket.
Adrian from Vintageville has been so kind to model the jacket for this cover :)
The jacket is a 42 chest and perfect for the rockabilly or classic vintage fella. Cant you see this in plaid or even denim?

This evening I traveled to LACMA for the California Mid Century Exhibit.
It was a Thursday and the museum was open late. We met up at 6:30 and I was surprised that if you were an LA resident, you got in free!
You walk into a large breath of space where it has been transformed into a kitcky 50s tasting space itself. It's wavy gravy, man.
