Catalog Sunday, last Sunday

Last Sunday I have, er, had some lovely Marian Martin scans from their catalog dating 1945.

First, I'd like to thanks you all for your comments on my previous post. They were honest, encouraging, and very insightful. You all are awesome.

For what it's worth, I went back to Lindygroove last night and I guess I must have purged the bad thoughts from my mind in that post because I had a good time, and I was worried I would not. I danced, had fun, and didn't care. I think that was the most important part. I didn't care. So thanks you all. I feel a lot better.

Now back to sewing:)

Happy February everyone! As I finally unpack my sewing goodies (which seem to be a good 1/5 of all my belongings), I found my stash of last month's goodies.

Because of my sudo-fast, I didn't buy a lot of patterns. I did skip eBay and got some from a few vendors online, as well as Etsy.

This Sunday I have lovely images from a mid 30s Marian Martin catalog.

This Sunday I'm feeling pretty 30s. This is a pattern catalog from the lovely mail order company, Marian Martin. There is no date on the catalog, which is a tad oversized, but judging by the styles, I'd gestimate from 1932-1933.
