Quilt Progress and Photo Shoot

Happy Tuesday one and all. Yesterday I go into work and they have a real Christmas tree going up in the corner of the office. The smell was lovely. I guess the office will decorate it soon. I also had my first candy cane of the season. Oh yes, the Holidays are here.

I'm just checking in with you all to show you my progress on the quilt. It's really coming along. I get a lot of the sewing done on the bus as I commute to work. I'm averaging a block a week. Even I'm impressed with the progress.

Here is what I have. It's getting too large for my table now. Yay!!

Also here is one of my outfits for last week. I'm looking through my closet and digging out my forgotten shoes. These are Vans I got on Zappos for $20.

I'm wearing my cotton wrap dress (I need to move a button over, its a bit baggy at the waist) and some leggings. The sweater is a great heavy wrap number from Lands End. The brooch is one I've had for years.

I've missed dressing up.
