Happy February everyone! As I finally unpack my sewing goodies (which seem to be a good 1/5 of all my belongings), I found my stash of last month's goodies.
Because of my sudo-fast, I didn't buy a lot of patterns. I did skip eBay and got some from a few vendors online, as well as Etsy.
After making a few pairs of gloves, I'm ready to make myself a pair.
This pattern I think is great because it's got a classic look. I got it because of the waist size. I think I'm going to make this one up for the Air Raid.
This lovely 30's house frock was actually a gift from a friend!
Isn't that just the nicest! It's also a 44 bust! Wow!
Slowly things are starting to get back to normal. I still have to unpack and sort my clothing, but now that most of the boxes are out of the apartment, its getting to be all about getting things where they are supposed to be. Oh, unpacking. I don't mind it, though. I love sorting and putting everything where it is supposed to be. That makes me happy in an odd way.
I just surged for about an hour getting pre move purchased fabric ready for the washing machine. Its laundering now. Then, I can sort them and place them on my fabric shelf. Mmmm, I love looking at it :)
Okay all, as I normalize, I'll be getting back to sewing.
Have a great day, everyone!!
That glove pattern is to-die-for! *swoon*
ReplyDeleteI bought a glove pattern too. I have large hands and have a hard time finding gloves that fit. I haven't gotten around to making a pair but hope to soon.
